Gymnastics Plus! is located
at 58445 Pearl Acres Rd., 1 block off of Gause Blvd. East.
GP has one of the finest training facilities in the south.
Our, 10,000 sq. ft. gym is packed with state of the equipment
for all men and women Olympic events, including 3 sets of
uneven bars, 5 regulation balance beams, a spring loaded vaulting
horse, great specialized equipment for our preschool Tumble
Bunnies & Bears, plus much more! Best of all, the gym
contains a 40 ft. tumble trampoline and a 500 sq. ft. in ground
safety pit. These are two extraordinary training tools for
gymnasts of all ages and levels. There is also plenty of seating
space for parents, and the entire building is centrally air-conditioned

Staff: | All
of our staff members have at least 5 years of experience in gymnastics and/or
coaching. All staff members have been trained in the "Fun & Fitness"
program curriculum which is used in all Progressive and Kindergym classes. Many
of our teachers are former NOEGC (New Orleans East Gymnastics Club) and GP team
members with many years of competitive gymnastics experience. Our coaches attend
clinics yearly and are updated on new ideas in coaching, spotting & child
psychology. Training has been received by clinicians such as Bela Karoli and recreational
and pre-school gymnastics experts, Patti Komara and Mary Aucoin. Our coaches are
also members of the United States Gymnastics Federation (USGF). |
