Where every child is a STAR!

General Rules & Policies

Attendance and Visitation Policy

It is important for your child to arrive to class on time. All classes begin with a comprehensive 5 – 10 minute stretch routine. Proper stretching improves flexibility and helps prevent injuries.

Please pick-up you child promptly after the class is dismissed.  GP cannot provide after class care for students whose parents are late in picking them up. All children are required to remain inside the building in the lobby until their parents or guardian arrives to collect them. Please do not ask them to wait  in the parking lot.

Family, friends and visitors are welcome to observe classes anytime. All events can be viewed from the viewing areas. Only gymnasts and GP employees are permitted on the gym floor. Flash photography and videography must be approved through the front office.

Students are allowed one make-up class per month due to illness or other out of the ordinary circumstances.  If you schedule a make-up class and your child misses it for any reason, you will not be allowed to reschedule that make-up. We do not pro-rate tuition for missed classes and no make-ups are allowed for scheduled holidays unless otherwise noted.

Tuition Payment Policy

Gymnastics tuition is calculated by the session, either School Year (Aug-May) or Summer (June-Aug).  It is preferred that tuition be paid in 2 payments for the school year session, and is discounted for those who pay in this manner.  However, tuition may be paid monthly if you sign up for auto draft.  Please note that tuition payments are not based on the number of classes per individual month.  Tuition is calculated by dividing the cost of the session into either 2 installments for the school year session, or 1 installment for the summer session.   Monthly payments are due on the 1st of every month; if payment is not received by the 1st of that month, the monthly tuition amount will be auto drafted from your account. Monthly class fees are non-refundable and will not be adjusted for absences.

Note:  If paying monthly, bank Draft charges will automatically cease at the end of each session.

Health Policy

  • Any child displaying the following symptoms should not be brought to the program;  fever, diarrhea, vomiting, rash, or sore throat.  If any child becomes ill while attending class, camp, etc., we will notify a parent or guardian  to pick up the child.
  • Head Lice Policy:  Any child who has lice or nits (eggs) will not be allowed to participate in class.  A doctors note will be required stating that there are no lice or nits before returning to the gym.  Lice is a nuisance and we would like to keep others free of this bug.
  • GP WILL NOT give medication to children.

Termination Policy

Gymnastics Plus! does not require a 12 month contract, but the enrollment period is considered from the signup date through the end of the current session,  either the school year session (Aug.-May),  or for the summer session, (June – August). Early withdrawal is allowed between January 1-15th with a completed drop form turned into the office.  After enrollment should you wish to remove your child from gymnastics, for any reason, the front office must be notified in writing 30 days before the next semester. Failure to notify the front office in writing will result in tuition being due regardless of attendance.
